VISITOR AND POLICY INFORMATION
Cooper Connection is a business development organization that provides a strategy to increase your new business potential through giving and assisting others. Cooper Connection only allows one individual from each profession to join a weekly Marketing Team. Being a member is having 10-30 people on your marketing team without adding them to your payroll. Our members are trained to "tell their stories" about their businesses so their fellow members will look and listen for them in order to give referrals. It is very simple, but it does require a commitment. The most successful Marketing Teams are made up of professionals who are sincerely committed to helping one another with sincerity, integrity and not with their self interests in mind. Your group will become your extended business family and support system! As a member, you agree to the policies and guidelines as outlined in the "Membership Application." Some of the policies are listed below:
"Regular Member" meetings are weekly and last for 90 minutes. Monthly meetings for "Regular Member's" and "Support Member's" are held on the first Thursday of every month and last for 90 minutes (of course guests are encouraged to attend as it's become a great networking event). It is imperative you arrive on time and stay for the entire meeting.
If you are unable to attend your weekly meeting, as a courtesy, please contact the office to inform us of your absence.
"Regular Member's" weekly attendance is vital to the success of your Marketing Team. They are counting on you to be there, for the same reason as you, for support and to educate one another about your respective businesses. You are allowed to have one person from your organization attend in your place or you can send a guest when you cannot attend. Members who are absent on a continual basis will risk termination.
Only one individual from each profession is permitted to join a Weekly Marketing Team.
All members are encouraged to bring a minimum of one qualified visitor per month and one referral per week.
All members are required to promote their primary businesses during meetings, not part-time businesses.
Guests are permitted to visit twice, but no more than 3 times before making their decision to submit their application in consideration for membership (some exceptions may apply).
Unfortunately, any no shows for pre-paid reservations cannot be refunded or used at a later date. If you find that you cannot attend, you can send another person in your place. If you do, you must contact us to let us know.
Cooper Connection is a professional organization, with that, professional attire is recommended.
Any changes to a Cooper Connection membership (resignation or group transfer), a 30-day written notice must be given and received in the offices of Cooper Connection no later than the first day of the month. Member is responsible for dues that final month and is entitled to attend all meetings. All membership fees paid are not refundable.
Fees:
A registration fee of $100 is required upon submitting your application and will constitute your commitment to join Cooper Connection. For "Regular Membership" submission, if there is not a current position available for you when your application is submitted, your registration fee will be returned. However, it can be held to "hold" the next available spot. All initiation fees and first month dues for new members are due upon attending your first weekly meeting unless prior arrangements have been made.
"Regular Member" initiation fees and dues vary due to "New Member Promotions." Contact our office for more information (281) 674-4027. Monthly dues are assessed for breakfast or lunch and your weekly meal is included within your monthly dues (Some groups, however, meals are not offered. Monthly constitutes a 3-week month). With that, throughout any given year, meetings will not be held 4-5 times during the year which is entirely dependent upon whether the month has five weeks within that month. Meetings will not be held during the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Any other weeks, members will be given advance notice the specific week the meeting will not be held or rescheduled.
"Support Member" initiation fees fees and dues vary due to "New Member Promotions." Contact our office for more information (281) 674-4027. Monthly dues are assessed and yearly renewals on anniversary date. “Support Member” attends monthly all group meeting only (all members come together on the same day where we have an outside speaker sharing on various business topics) which is held the first Thursday of every month from 11:30am – 1pm. Monthly Dues are billed for six months at a time, members can pay monthly (ONLY if a credit or debit card is on file) and are due on the first business day of the month. A $25.00 late fee will be assessed if membership fees (including initiation fees, monthly dues and guest fees) are not received by the 5th day of that month. If a check is returned insufficient or if credit card charge is declined a $25.00 charge will be assessed - no exceptions.
